Tyler Place Community Development Corporation is a 501(C)3 non-profit community-based development organization serving the Vine City and Northwest Atlanta community.  Tyler Place CDC was founded in 1992 by the members of the Tyler Place Home Owner's Association with the desire to participate in neighborhood plannibg and redevelopment efforts and address many of the unmet needs and concerns of the Vine City neighborhood.

Our mission is to provide and produce mixed income housing, promote economic development, and encourage community empowerment through a variety of partnerships supporting education, cultural enrichment, volunteer involvement, recreation, and other supportive services, and by resolution, provide homebuyer eduation services to low and moderate income homebuyers.

HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

Tyler Place Community Development Corporation develops mixed-income housing and provides home ownership opportunities in the Vine City community.  Our past housing developments include single family in-fill housing along Delbridge Avenue and Magnolia Streets.  Tyler Place CDC is currently working to develop our Elm Street project which will include over fifty town homes at affordable prices ranging from $165,000 to $225,000.

HOMEBUYER EDUCATION

Tyler Place CDC provides homebuyer education services in the Northwest quadrant of Atlanta that include the following:

• Pre-purchase Homebuyer Education
• Post-purchase Homebuyer Education
• Mortgage Delinquency & Loss Mitigation Education
